Description

Plugin overview

Advanced Selection is a fast element-filtering tool for Revit. Pick any model category, build one or more parameter-based rules (combined with AND/OR), and instantly act on the matching elements - select them, isolate them in the view, or override their colour and fill pattern. The Parameter and Value lists are filled automatically from the elements in your model, so you filter on real data without typing anything.

Tutorial

How to use this plugin

  1. Download Advanced Selection from the BIM Hive marketplace and run the installer; choose your Revit version (2024 or 2025) and finish setup.
  2. Open Revit and load your project.
  3. Go to the BIM Hive tab > Selection Tools > Advanced Selection.
  4. Choose a Category (for example, Doors).
