Overview

App description

Finishes Tool builds the finishes for a room - ceiling, plaster, paint, floor, and skirting - from a single dialog, so you don't have to model each layer by hand. Pick one or more rooms, choose the types and dimensions for each finish, and the tool generates the finish elements bounded to the room.

For the ceiling you set a ceiling type and either a drop from the top of the room (DT) or a clear height (CH). Plastering takes a plaster wall type and an overshoot value (PO); painting applies a paint wall type (on the plaster, on the ceiling face, or a manual thickness); flooring uses a floor type; and the skirt layer uses a skirt wall type and height (SH). Run it once and the room's finishes are modeled and ready to schedule or detail.
