Join Tool for Revit Documentation
Automatically join intersecting Walls, Floors, and Columns across the whole project.
Join Tool scans the entire project for elements that should be joined and applies the join in one pass, instead of clicking through every intersection by hand -- built to cut manual cleanup and keep joins consistent across large files.
Installation
1. Download the installer from your BIM Hive account's Downloads page. 2. Run it, agree to the terms, click Next, then Install. 3. Open Revit -- the plugin adds a BIM Hive tab to the ribbon. 4. The first time you launch it, enter your license key when prompted (find it anytime on your account's Licenses page).
How to Use
1. Open Revit and find the plugin in the BIM Hive tab on the ribbon. 2. Open the plugin and select the categories and family types you want to join. 3. Click Join -- the project-wide scan and join happen in one step.
Supported Joins
Join Tool handles Wall-to-Wall, Wall-to-Floor, Wall-to-Column, and Column-to-Floor joins, matched either Category to Category or Type to Type, across the whole project at once.
