Typo Checker Documentation
Find and fix spelling mistakes in Revit room names and text notes.
Typo Checker scans your model's room names and text notes, flags anything questionable alongside the view it lives in and the original text, and offers a one-click suggested fix for each -- so your documentation reads clean before it goes out.
Installation
1. Download the installer from your BIM Hive account's Downloads page. 2. Run it, agree to the terms, click Next, then Install. 3. Open Revit -- the plugin adds a BIM Hive tab to the ribbon. 4. The first time you launch it, enter your license key when prompted (find it anytime on your account's Licenses page).
How to Use
1. Open the Revit project you want to check. 2. Go to the BIM Hive tab. 3. Click Room Names Spell Check to scan room names, or Text Notes Spell Check for text notes. 4. Review each flagged word with its suggestion and original text. 5. Choose Replace to accept a fix, Ignore to keep the word, or Replace All. 6. Confirm the summary of updated items when the check finishes.
